Using a minimalist approach with alcohol markers and ink, I create portraits that blend detail and simplicity, producing artwork that feels intimate, timeless and personal.

Perfect as a gift for a family member, friend, or partner - or as a personal keepsake.  Each piece is thoughtfully hand-drawn and entirely unique.

Cost:

Starting at $175.00 for a portrait of up to 2 people + $30.00 for each additional person.

How it Works:  

1. Place your order and pay the deposit ($100).  This secures your spot.
2. Send your reference photo to hello@patriciadeborja.ca.  Please include any relevant information (e.g. features that you want (or don't want) included in the drawing; personalities, etc.).
3. Approve the draft and finalize the details.  Once the reference photo is received, I will send a preliminary draft for you to review (within one week).  This will be a basic pencil sketch.  You will get one round of revisions at this stage to adjust composition placement.  At this point, we will also finalize the price based on the number of people in the portrait, and you'll pay the remaining balance before I complete the final artwork.  Please note that changes to the final drawing after the draft stage are not possible due to the nature of alcohol markers and ink.  
4. Creation.  Once the draft is approved, I'll complete your custom portrait (within two weeks), focusing on the quiet emotions and connections that make your relationships unique.
5. Delivery.  Your hand-drawn original artwork is shipped safely to your door, ready to frame and display.  Shipping and delivery times vary based on destination.

A note about by my style:

These portraits are minimalist and focus on the quiet emotions and connections between loved ones.  They are not meant to be exact likenesses but, rather, a celebration of personality, feeling and relationship.  

By purchasing this portrait, you acknowledge that the $100 paid at checkout is a deposit.  The remaining balance will be collected once the draft is approved, according to the process outlined in "How it Works" (above).

Ships free with care.  Orders over CA$150 include tracking and delivery confirmation.

Please note that custom portraits are non-refundable, as each piece is created specifically for you.  If your portrait arrives damaged, please contact me promptly so I can work with you to resolve the issue.
